Trenggalek – Tuesday, 03 September 2024 The LP2M UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung team paid a visit to Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Trenggalek. The visit on this occasion was with the aim of following up on the cooperation plan for the assisted madrasahs. MAN 1 Trenggalek has long been known by the wider community as a research madrasa. Present at this visit were LP2M, namely; Dr. Lailatuz Zuhriyah, M.Fil.I. head of the research center, Dr. Ahmad Fahrudin, M.Pd.I., head of the journal center, publication, and publishing, Didin Wahyudin, M.Pd. LP2M secretary, and Ghinanjar Akhmad Syamsudin, M.Pd. staff ahli LP2M.
Meanwhile, MAN party 1 Trenggalek warmly welcomed the presence of the LP2M Team. The speech came from Muslih Alaydrus, S.Pd. as Head of the Madrasah, Agustina Dwi Fahruddiningsih, S.Pd. as Deputy Head of Curriculum, Drs. H. Agus Tamami as research developer, and Sutianah, S.Pd. as research coordinator. This visit was packaged in a relaxed discussion pattern, interesting, and serious.
All this time MAN 1 Trenggalek in the curriculum aspect has included research subjects in the intra-curricular, until within a week there 2 Class hours are devoted to research material, This statement was conveyed by the head of the madrasah. MAN research coordinator 1 Trenggalek added that the material presented was still limited to the conceptual and theoretical realm. So there is a need for implementation of the concepts and theories presented by teachers for preparing research proposals and reports. So the presence of the LP2M Team is important to collaborate with MAN 1 Trenggalek in the context of assisted madrasas in order to achieve the goals of better research madrasas.
Furthermore, The Head of the LP2M Research Center said that, “In the realm of higher education, There is a tri dharma that must be implemented with full responsibility. First education, second study, And third devotion. So the built madrasas are internalized in MAN 1 Trenggalek by the LP2M Team is able to accommodate these three dharmas. Basically, what we do is in the interests of both parties, good man 1 Trenggalek, or UIN SATU".
In this discussion, some interesting ideas emerged. Some of these ideas will be followed up, including First, syllabus that has been prepared by the MAN Curriculum Development Team 1 Trenggalek needs to be reviewed updated in accordance with the context of advances in information and technology. Second, MAN 1 Trenggalek immediately formed a team consisting of students to Madrasah Young Researchers Supercamp which will then get construction from UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung.Third, strengthening methodology in the research side for MAN students and students 1 Trenggalek.
Several other agreements between the LP2M Team and MAN 1 Trenggalek will then be structured in a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) And Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the not too distant future. It is the hope of both parties that this cooperation will be able to bring better educational performance and progress, namely in the realm of Madrasah Aliyah and also Higher Education. (fahru)
