Principal Duties and Functions

The Institute for Research and Community Service has the task of coordinating, monitor, and assess the implementation of research activities organized by the research center, carry out community service activities, and participate in undertaking and controlling the administration of necessary resources.

The Institute for Research and Community Service carries out functions:

1. Implementation of pure and applied scientific research
2. Implementation of scientific research, technology, and/or certain arts to support development
3. Carrying out research for education and institutional development
4. Implementation of scientific research, technology, and/or art as well as developing conceptions of national development, region, and/or regions through collaboration between universities and/or other bodies both within the country and abroad
5. Implementation of publication of research results
6. Implementation of administrative affairs of the Institute for Research and Community Service, the implementation of the practice of knowledge, technology and/or art
7. Increasing the relevance of University programs according to community needs
