Tulungagung, 3 July 2026 – Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung held a field supervisor training activity (DPL) Community Service Program (KKN) 2026. The activity took place in the Prajnapharamita Building Hall floor 5 and attended by all lecturers who will serve as field supervisors for this year's KKN students.

In the year of 2026 This, UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung KKN will be implemented in two districts, namely Tulungagung and Trenggalek, by involving as much 4.108 student. This time the KKN has a theme “Digital Literacy Towards an Environmentally Friendly Village”.

DPL Asked to Ensure Usefulness and Integration of Tridharma

In his speech, Chairman of LP2M UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, Prof. Dr. Drink Naim, emphasized the important role of DPL in ensuring the success of this year's KKN implementation. He said that DPL should ensure two important things in implementing KKN this time, namely that the programs run by students must really have an impact on society, and integrated with the Tridharma of State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN).

“DPL must ensure that these KKN activities really have a real impact on society, as well as being a form of integration of the Tridharma of Higher Education,” emphasized Prof. Drink Naim.

Principal: DPL Must Be a Physical Murabbi and an Ethical Murabbi

Meanwhile, in his briefing, Chancellor of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, Prof. Dr. H. Abd Aziz, reminding DPLs to understand the characteristics of today's students who are a new generation with completely different patterns compared to the DPLs' own generation.

According to Prof. Abd Aziz, These generational differences require different mentoring approaches. He emphasized that DPL must be able to become physical murabbi at a time Moral teacher for students during the implementation of KKN.

“DPL must be able to become a student's physical teacher, and moral tutor of students. Guide students to have good ethics in society,” said the Chancellor in his briefing.

The Chancellor's statement is the main emphasis in this briefing activity, that the role of DPL is not only limited to accompanying student work programs in the field, but is also responsible for forming students' attitudes and ethics so that they are able to blend in and be well accepted in the community where they serve.
