Jakarta –IAIN Tulungagung successfully received the Real Work Lecture award (KKN) Mental Revolution (RM) year 2018. The award was received by the Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, YB Satya Sananugraha on Thursday (04/04/2019) in Jakarta.

Chair of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) IAIN Tulungagung, Ngainun Naim said that actually years 2018 This is the first State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN) in this case the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Tulungagung is one of the managers of Real Work Lectures (KKN) Mental Revolution (RM) which was organized by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture) in collaboration with the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education(Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education) and the Ministry of Religion (Ministry of Religion) Republic of Indonesia. The KKN program is already running 4 times with followed by 38 PTN/PTKN throughout Indonesia.

Naim also said, that IAIN Tulungagung's participation in the RM KKN program organized by the Coordinating Ministry for PMK complements the IAIN Tulungagung community service program sub-section of several types of KKN programs that have been running so far, including the National Community Service Program, Archipelago, International (Thailand), Regular which covers the surrounding districts and most recently this Mental Revolution. In implementing this RM KKN, Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) as manager of the IAIN Tulungagung KKN program continues to coordinate, discussion, and intensive assistance both internally on campus, such as from Rectorate officials, Field Assistant Lecturer (DPL), allcrew LP2M, external campus parties such as sub-district and village officials, along with the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture. This RM KKN is a new type for IAIN Tulungagung so it requires serious control from the management and students (as a participant in the RM KKN program), as the responsibility of the IAIN Tulungagung campus to the Ministry, especially in terms of programs and use of budget funds.

“Thank God for the blessing of Allah SWT. It turns out that this hard work has produced immeasurable results for LP2M as the manager. Thanks to the support of many parties, including compactnesscrew LP2M, is one of the main keys to success in carrying out this RM KKN program," said one of the most productive book authors at IAIN Tulungagung.

Year 2018, This RM KKN was attended by 540 students after going through admissions selection, starting from online registration to the briefing process by LP2M, Kesbangpol, District parties and DPL KKN. This amount is divided into: 36 group for 18 village, from 2 sub-districts, namely Bakung and Wonotirto sub-districts in Blitar district.

"The fatigue of the RM KKN program management finally paid off sweetly because it was on Thursday 4 April 2019, The management was called to receive an award as the best campus in managing KKN RM,Na'im said.

The award presentation was packaged at the Executive Meeting & Signing of Memorandum of Understanding on Mental Revolution Thematic KKN 2019 This gives appreciation to IAIN Tulungagung, which is taking part in the RM KKN for the first time to presentsuccess story in the management that has been carried out so far. With the hope that it can provide inspiration and motivation 38 other campuses. In this event, IAIN Tulungagung teamed up with LP2M UPI to receive the award as the best campus in the field of implementing the RM KKN program..

With great pride, Chairman of LP2M IAIN Tulungagung, Ngainun Naim explained clearly the RM KKN management process from participant recruitment to reporting. There was an extraordinary positive response from various campuses regarding this achievement, There was a lot of appreciation and questions for him.
