LP2M State Islamic University (UIN) Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung through the Research Center (Research Center) held socialization on the SBK-Based Research Assistance Program for the Fiscal Year 2025. Socialization activities are guided directly by the Head of the Research Center (Extortion), Lailatuzz Zuhriyah. The activity began with an opening with the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah; then continued with a welcome speech, direction, as well as opening socialization activities by the Chair of LP2M, Drink Naim (Prof. Naim).
The Chairman of LP2M conveyed several things in his speech. First, SBK Research Year 2025 at the UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung Work Unit which just opened this week, considering the SBK Research Technical Guidelines for the Year 2025 from the Center just dropped a week earlier. This is because we are still waiting for the regulations governing the Year SBK to be issued 2025 from the Ministry of Finance. So LP2M needs to create a derivative of the technical guidelines so that it can then socialize this program this week.
Second, Research is a form of our responsibility as lecturers. Without this program, Usually lecturers are not very enthusiastic about doing research. Therefore, The research funds that have been budgeted are an opportunity that must be utilized well.
“The research should not only be of personal benefit, Furthermore, it must also be beneficial institutionally. This is because our research report and outcomeIt is one of the important parameters for determining the superiority of institutional accreditation. Therefore, it is important for us to think about how research can be sustainable”, emphasized Prof. Naim.
Furthermore, Prof. Naim explained that it was based on notes from reviewers, One of the things that researchers at PTKIN need to think about is how focused and in-depth the research will be, so you can expert on one topic. “Every year so as not to shift topics, and go deeper into one topic. Therefore, Diktis came up with an idea to form it Research Group. So, researchers who focus on the same topic, can get together and discuss about research gap which can be researched from year to year”, explained Prof. Naim.
Prof. Naim also appealed to researchers, so that before registering the proposal, Read and pay attention to the technical guidelines first. This is important, so that when selecting a cluster, the criteria are in accordance with the Technical Guidelines. So that the Litapdimas Satker Admin does not need to move clusters because of a mismatch between the criteria and the selected cluster.
At the end of his speech, Prof. Naim appealed to researchers so that all researchers follow the selection mechanism and proposal seminar properly. This opportunity is wide open to all researchers, so it is necessary to make good use of this moment.
Furthermore, Socialization activities are delivered directly by the Head of Research Center (But there). In his presentation, The Head of Research Center explains the annual research assistance program scheme 2025. There is something different about the Annual Research Assistance Program 2025 compared to the previous year. This year, because of central policy (Dictated) wants it to exist single sytem Litapdimas, then each proposer is required to update their profile, SINTA synchronization, and also synchronization of Litapdimas. Besides that, each proposer is obliged to fulfill the obligations outputs And outcomes in the previous year. If this is not done, then the researcher's account will automatically be blocked.
Mrs. Laila further explained that outputs years of research 2025 plus with executive summary which must be uploaded to the menu outputs on Litapdimas. Total research budget for the year 2025 sebessar 3,7 Billion, which is offered in 4 (four) cluster, ie: Basic Research Cluster Development/Capacity, Basic Research Cluster for Study Program Development, Interdisciplinary Basic Research Cluster, and the International Collaborative Development Research Cluster.
In line with what the Chairman of LP2M said, Mrs. Laila appealed to all prospective researchers to read the Technical Guidelines first before enteringsubmit proposal, in order to know what criteria must be met when selecting a cluster. The hope is that no more researchers will make mistakes in uploading documents outputs And outcomes. Then, uploaded proposal, It has been checked first using the Turnitin application, “Don't forget to click on the repository number so that LP2M can check it again, not high similarity. Make sure that the similarity level is below 20%, as per the Technical Guidelines set by the Center”, said Mrs. Laila.
“Research registration opens from date 28 December 2024 until date 18 January 2025. Meanwhile, the next stage is made earlier. This scheme is faster than the Central one, as an anticipatory step if there is a budget refocusing in 2025”, Mrs. Laila explained.
