Tulungagung, 01 July 2025—Important momentum in the Real Work Lecture network (KKN) UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung (UIN ONE) held again. This time it was the KKN Student Release 2025 by the Chancellor of UIN SATU. The release of this KKN also felt special, if the previous few years the release was only totaled 2.000 – 2.500 participant, this time almost 2 fold, that is 4.589 students took part in the send-off ceremony.
Besides that, which adds a different feel from previous years, release was carried out at the Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN SATU field. The hope, new places are able to add a positive spirit in carrying out a series of KKN agendas that have been well organized. The KKN theme was also a new breakthrough, titled "Digital Literacy Towards an Environmentally Friendly Village" which supports the priority programs of the Minister of Religion, Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar, M.Ag. that is Ecotheology. So in the context of a national program, UIN SATU cannot be separated from encouraging and providing full support for government priority programs.

This release began with remarks from the Chairman of LP2M UIN SATU. Prof. Dr. Drink Naim, M.H.I. The message conveyed in his speech. First, KKN is not to patronize the community, students come to villages to interact, then blend in to learn with the community in the social life at the KKN location. Second, the era now is social media. Students should present educational content, informative, and provide benefits to the wider community, not quite the opposite, posting news that is less than ethical and even in nature hoax. Third, think before you act. This aspect is important, because of what he did, especially in the digital world, Digital traces will be recorded forever. If what is done is good, then it will be charity, if negative, Jariyah sin is an aspect that cannot be avoided.
Fourth, one of the many indicators of student KKN success is when they say goodbye. People will cry for students when they say goodbye. This context is not without reason, The community will feel like they have missed the presence of students for several days at the KKN location. The longing will be felt by the community. Fifth, modal “Mongo”. Of course, In Javanese tradition, greeting is an action that adds warmth and added value to interactions with the surrounding community. With a term speech "Please" (which means 'let' in Indonesian) The community becomes appreciated and the existence of students is seen as positive energy.
Furthermore, ended his speech, The man who was originally born in Tulungagung congratulated all the students who were going to the KKN site to carry out community service.
The next speech was delivered by the Chancellor of UIN SATU, Prof. Dr. H. Abdul Aziz, M.Pd., Starting his speech he conveyed the current conditions and circumstances. “We are currently experiencing 3 kind of crisis. First is the spiritual crisis. Second, Social crisis. Third, environmental crisis”. As he delivered his speech at the beginning.
In the aspect of spiritual crisis, for example. Our society now needs strengthening. Most of the students who will carry out KKN are alumni of Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN SATU. The Chancellor's belief is very strong in students to strengthen the spirituality of society. Moreover, students who participate in KKN are those who have already graduated in number 110 SKS. Plus tagline UIN SATU campus which is the "Da'wah and Civilization Campus". Especially he told the students to never leave prayer.
Next is the environmental crisis. The Chancellor hopes students will interact, collaboration, and communication with the community. Together with the Community is not only about serving local wisdom, However, it is able to improve stable conditions in the culture of environmental wisdom. This kind of condition needs to be met, because we all know that disasters happen everywhere, well flooded, landslide, and forest fires. If this happens, no one steps in to mitigate it, then future generations of descendants and grandchildren will not be able to witness the beauty of nature.
The Social Crisis was also an important point emphasized by the Chancellor in his speech. The social crisis can be seen from the extent to which students are wise and judicious in using social media. Increasingly, social media will become a primary need. Students must be able to measure and raise public awareness with social media content that provides positive and enlightening information. This significance will give rise to a new headline, that is Ecosocial.

At the end of the reception, The Chancellor officially released the students to carry out KKN at 2 Regency, namely Tulungagung and Trenggalek which are divided into 12 subdistrict.
The release closed with the pinning of the KKN and DPL participants' marks. This was then accompanied by the handing over of trees from the Chancellor to representatives of the District Coordinator as an implementation of the values Ecotheology which was initiated by the Minister of Religion. Furthermore, trees will be planted at each Student KKN location.
