
Tulungagung, 31 December 2025 — Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung held a Socialization of the Research Assistance Program Based on Output Cost Standards (SBK) Year 2026. This activity is part of strengthening the direction of research and service policies that have an impact and contribute to improving the quality and reputation of the institution.
Chancellor of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, Prof. Dr. Abd. Aziz, M.Pd.I., in his speech emphasized that research and community service (PkM) is LP2M's strategic task in supporting PTKIN's ranking increase in the rankings Times Higher Education (THE)–SDGs. Therefore, All research and PkM themes must be in line with the Ministry of Religion's Asta Protas.
The Chancellor emphasized the importance of strengthening strategic themes, including religious moderation, love and social harmony, as well as the development of ecotheology and Religreen. According to him, Collaborative research needs to be directed to produce applicable outcomes, including the development of sustainable ecotheology and Religreen curricula.
“Research and PkM must be carried out in an integrated and impact-oriented scheme, especially in teacher empowerment programs, boarding school, and strengthening the people's economy. PkM Selingkar campus must really have a real impact on society,"said the Chancellor.
Furthermore, Prof. Abd. Aziz said that the various research and PkM programs that had been implemented had shown a significant impact, one of them is the birth of the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) Adulthood as a service innovation based on the real needs of society. It hopes, The results of this research can form a road map (roadmap) clear and directed research and PKM at UIN SATU Tulungagung.
On this occasion, The Chancellor also informed that MoRA The Air Funds it is planned to reopen in the middle of the year 2026, so that academics are expected to be able to prepare research proposals optimally. Besides that, strengthening the accreditation of application-based study programs and accelerating program implementation are important concerns in supporting national policy.
Closing his remarks, Prof. Abd. Aziz targets a minimum ranking 30 large PTKIN at the end of the year, and encourage the implementation of religious moderation surveys as a basis for strengthening LP2M policies and programs.
