DONGKO – The release of Wave II KKN participants was carried out by the Minister of Religion Lukman Hakim Syaifudin. After discharge, on 19 July 2019 Wave II KKN participants departed and carried out the opening ceremony in each village.
On 23 July 2019, Cakul Village KKN participants held an opening at the Village Hall attended by each Field Supervisor (DPL) post 1 namely Nur Aziz Muslim and the post 2 Ali Somad.
And attended by village officials including the Village Secretary, Village Head, and the Chair of the Cakul Village PKK as well as all Cakul Village KKN participants.
In DPL's speech for the handover of the KKN participants, Cakul Village was represented by Ali Somad. He said that KKN in Cakul Village is a type of Regular KKN that focuses on multisectoral community empowerment based on local potential..
"So here the KKN Cakul participants are not looking for problems to solve, but rather develop potential in the context of problem solving,'' he said.
In his speech, conveyed the philosophy of the names of successive villages. For example, Sumber Bening Village is defined as the source of all life, both humans and other living creatures. After passing through Pandean Village, you are faced with the real reality, namely Cakul Village, which is manifested as a tool for cultivating the land. In such a way the journey can give results that make the village prosperous.
The number of IAIN Tulungagung students working in the KKN program in Cakul village is: 39 members are divided into 2 post. Command Post 1 is located in Karangsudo hamlet while the post 2 located in the village of Kapit. The majority of students come from outside the city and some even come from outside Java and abroad.
The Secretary of Cakul Patah Village said that he was available to accept Cakul Village KKN participants and was prepared to take part in helping the activities of fellow KKN participants.. According to him, However, what KKN participants do is for the sake of developing village potential.
