One of the tasks of higher education is to provide benefits to society. Steps taken include implementing the Tri Dharma of higher education in the field of community service. Real Job College (KKN) including part of community service carried out by students with the assistance of lecturers. Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) IAIN Tulungagung as organizer of KKN, will hold four KKN clusters this year for the first wave. Namely Multisectoral KKN which will be held in Blitar Regency. KKN Nusantara in the 3T Region it was held in East Nusa Tenggara. Brantas KKN Completed in the urban area of ​​the Tulungagung Regency river basin. As well as, Disaster Resilient KKN held in Besuki District, Tulungagung Regency. Problem The condition of rivers in East Java is a problem for the government. The East Java Provincial Government has also made innovations to solve river problems as well community by collaborating with state universities in East Java. So make it happen The collaborative KKN 'Brantas Tuntas' can be the answer to clean water problems in East Java. This collaborative KKN is not only a learning process student, also to participate in helping increase community capacity in East Java. We hope that our collaborative KKN can work together regarding identification problem, provide input on problems in East Java, synergize for able to produce advanced research materials that can be developed on campus each. So that later we can produce research that is applicable and utilized. Synergize with regional and provincial governments to be part of the process development in East Java

Concept This KKN is not just about repairing and cleaning the Brantas River, but how the community around Brantas is empowered, education on the meaning of healthy living, education on how the community can utilize the productive value of the area Brantas River, not just the blessing of water, but economic blessings and other fields.

IAIN Tulungagung was also involved in this KKN program. So one of the locations chosen was in the Ngrowo river basin area in the Tulungagung urban area. LP2M IAIN Tulungagung will accept 30 student with the following recruitment requirements:

Complete Brantas KKN Terms and Conditions

  1. Active student of IAIN Tulungagung fifth semester with GPA ≥ 3,25 and pass the minimum courses 88 SKS (proven by transcript)
  2. Have ideas and ideas about the concept of assisting urban communities around rivers (proven by making minimal writing throughout 500 words containing ideas and ideas for assisting urban communities)
  3. Have academic and/or non-academic achievements (proven by a certificate)
  4. Obtain approval from parents/guardians (proven by a stamped statement)
  5. Have a commitment to the environment
  6. Not pregnant
  7. Activists are characterized by being or having previously been administrators of student organizations both intra and extra campus (proven by a management decree or membership card).
  8. Preferably have creative ideas and good team work skills.

  • Management decree or organization membership card (intra/extra) campus
  • Photo 4 x 6 grounds merah (1 sheet)
