TUMPAKKEPUH, Daffodils UIN SATU Multisectoral KKN Tumpakkepuh Village students implemented a tree planting movement. There are many benefits that can be gained from planting trees, in addition to preserving air, It is also a way to maintain the ecosystem and water availability. With lots of trees, This will make it easier for rainwater to absorb into the soil. Therefore, Water availability will remain maintained and the surrounding environment will also be well maintained.

This tree planting activity was carried out on Sunday, 12 February 2023 start at 08.00 until 11.00 WIB in the Krajan area towards Pangi Beach. This activity was carried out simultaneously between the Tumpakkepuh KKN group 1 and Tumpakkepuh KKN 2. Both groups agreed to plan this activity, because in the Tumpakkepuh area, water availability is still one of the problems that is often complained about.

With this tree planting movement, The students hope that the trees planted will grow well and be able to help maintain water availability. The tree planting movement is actually the main task given by the campus to students who are doing KKN. The hope that is built is that students will contribute to caring for and preserving the health of the natural environment.

Lately, Global warming is a serious problem that is currently looking for a solution. So with this movement, It is hoped that students will contribute to reducing global warming which is increasing day by day. The type of tree planted is a water-protecting tree, like trembesi (Samanea Saman), banyan (Ficus Benjamina L), and several other types of water guard trees.
