
Yogyakarta-Friday, 28 October 2022 PSGAD UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah visited LPPM UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The visit was carried out in the context of a comparative study to strengthen the disabled service center at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung.
The team from PSGAD UIN SATU Tulungagung was warmly welcomed by the extended family of LPPM UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Present at the activity was the chairman of PSGAD UIN SATU Tulungagung, Dr. Sulistyorini with the Head of the Research Center and several staff. Likewise, the chairman of LPPM UIN Jogja and all his staff were present.
In his speech, Chairman of LPPM UIN Sunan Kalijaga said that in the next few years, PSGAD UIN SATU Tulungagung is able to provide maximum services for students with disabilities. “I'm sure in the next few years, PSGAD UIN SATU can go beyond what we have done. Moreover, there are many young workers there, Usually young people are more updated and innovative”. He also invited all academics to have the same commitment. “What is clear is that everyone must have the same commitment” he stressed.

Meanwhile, chairman of PSGAD UIN Tulungagung, Dr. Sulistyorini stated his commitment to make PSGAD a study center that can provide maximum service to people with disabilities at UIN SATU Tulungagung, “We are committed to providing the best possible service to people with disabilities. With this comparative study, We hope to gain a lot of knowledge regarding services for students with disabilities.”
The event continued with a warm discussion, where each representative presented the work program and achievements at the disabled service center. In general, Disabled Services Center (PLD) UIN Sunan Kalijaga has experience in providing services to students with disabilities on its campus, This is because PLD UIN Sunan Kalijaga has existed for quite a long time. Meanwhile at UIN SATU, the disabled service center was recently established.
Even so, The chairman of PSGAD UIN SATU believes that in the future, The SATU CARE integrated service unit at UIN SATU will be maximized and provide services needed by the academic community in the UIN SATU environment and communities in need.. [DW]
