Discussion of the Draft Joint Agreement between UIN SATU and the Nganjuk Regency Government

Nganjuk-Tuesday date 8 November 2022 o'clock 08.00-09.30 WIB, a joint agreement discussion was held between the UIN SATU Tulungagung Campus and the Nganjuk Regency Government at the government office. This agreement is a follow-up to intensive discussions between the campus and the Nganjuk Regency government during the implementation of the Regional Student Organization KKN (Armada) UIN ONE on the wave 2 year 2022 This. One of the variants or types of KKN at UIN SATU is regional organization-based KKN and this year is the second time that KKN has been implemented. One of outcome This KKN is designed to get cooperation between the campus and the local government which is then realized in form Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). With this MoU, it is hoped that it can cover all activities, programs and fields that are carried out jointly between the two parties. So that, This agreement contributes to community development.

After arriving at the District Government office (district government), LP2M UIN SATU group consisting of the Chair, Head of Research Center, Head of the Community Service Center and general staff as well as field supervisor Mr. Budi Harianto. We were welcomed by the Head of Government, law firm and several other staff who were waiting. After we sat for a while, discussions began on the draft collective agreement, broadcast on a projector screen, making it easier for everyone to read and correct it. The discussion was opened by one of the representatives from the Nganjuk Regency Government as an initial overview of the activities to be carried out. The origin of this MoU is a follow-up to the Ormada KKN which was implemented several months ago in Pace Wetan District. It was further explained that the contribution of students from Nganjuk to UIN SATU was quite large considering that Nganjuk was a supply area for UIN SATU students. It is hoped that the Ormada KKN will provide students from Nganjuk with the opportunity to study and serve their respective regions. From this KKN, many real products have been produced, such as village chronicle books, village potential map book, bumdes, and others. This is among the many benefits and goals that can be expected to develop from this agreement, according to Mr. Naim's explanation.

Another additional explanation was provided by Mrs. Lailatuzz Zuhriyah as Head of the LP2M UIN SATU Research Center. As person in charge of research. Mrs. Laila said, “The field of research can also be synergized by both parties. Apart from research, The community service aspect does not only involve religious-based KKN, Economic cooperation can also be established, socio-cultural, law and others.” M Muntahibun Nafis as Head of PkM added, “UIN SATU KKN which has made many achievements at the national level, including two consecutive winners of the Mental Revolution KKN held by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture. Besides that, This year UIN Tulungagung has won 1 Best National Level PTKIN KKN Implementer.”

After a mutual agreement is reached, even in terms of words, then a signature is made as proof of the completion of the discussion of the draft. It is hoped that later after the agreement is signed by both parties, then there will be optimization of the management of the potential and resources of each party, all of which will improve the welfare of the community.
