TRENGGALEK – After being officially released by the Minister of Religion Lukman Hakim Saifuddin, IAIN Tulungagung KKN wave II participants immediately stepped on the gas. One of them is holding a handover from the campus to the sub-district where the KKN is located. The handover was held Monday (22/07/2019) service walk.
Mental Revolution KKN was held in two sub-districts. Namely Pule and Panggul Districts, Trenggalek Regency. In Pule District, Deputy Chancellor III, Dr. Abad Badruzzaman M.Ag was the representative from the campus handing over 196 student. Whereas, in Panggul District represented by the Chairman of LP2M Dr. Drink Naim, M.H.I submitted 315 student.
Abad in his speech said that the KKN program consists of various types. One of them is the Mental Revolution KKN which was held in Trenggalek. He said that this KKN collaborated with the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture).
“Not all IAINs in Indonesia receive the Mental Revolution KKN program. Alhamdulillah, The first time IAIN Tulungagung became a KKN participant, it immediately won the championship 1 national field of administrative management and reporting as well as student literacy KKN from 38 university,” he said when giving a speech at the Pule District pavilion.
This man from West Java hopes that the sub-district or village authorities will not hesitate to educate, teach, and developing students participating in KKN.
“Just think of them as your own children,” he explained.
However, continued Abad, if anyone violates religious norms, his party handed it over to the village to straighten it out.
“Be kind to society. You will discover the beauty of religious teachings and social norms. Uphold local etiquette and culture,” he said.
Abad asked for brilliant ideas from the students. Reason, The scholar's character is one of revolutionary thinking. Ahead of his time.
“These ideas were offered to local government officials. Policy holders will be open and open,” the message.
Meanwhile, Head of Pule sub-district, Joko Susanto, admitted that he was grateful for choosing Pule as a place for KKN.
“Hopefully this will be good for the Pule community,” he said.
The man whose hair was starting to turn white said that the existence of KKN would move the wheels of the community's economy. Especially, With this Mental Revolution KKN, the hope is to bring mental change to society.
“Hopefully we can spread the virus of goodness,” he said.
Joko asked that during next year's KKN not only seven villages be occupied. But, all villages can equally become KKN locations.
“Please also prioritize the other four villages. To be even,” he asked.
