BODAG – The Indonesian Independence Day celebration is still next month. However, in some areas preparations have been made well in advance, including in Bodag Village, Pelvic District, Trenggalek Regency.
Located at the local village hall, Village Government (Village Government) Bodag, in collaboration with many elements of society, held a preparatory meeting to commemorate Indonesian Independence Day, Thursday (25/07/19). Besides that, The village government also invited IAIN Tulungagung students who were carrying out the Real Work Lecture - Mental Revolution (KKN-RM) in this village.
In the meeting which lasted three hours, The Head of Bodag Jumangat Village invited residents to deliberate to determine what activities would be carried out to celebrate Independence Day. Furthermore, he explained that this activity had taken place the previous year.
"Let's do this event (Independence Day Celebration) as good as last year,he said. He hopes that with this activity the residents can remember the struggle of the heroes who won independence from the colonialists.
The same hope was also conveyed by Agus Widodo as chairman of the committee.
”Naturally, with this we hope, Citizens can emulate previous heroes,” said Agus.
He added, The activities that will be offered to residents are competitions and shadow puppet shows. Besides that, Agus said that his party would collaborate with IAIN Tulungagung students who were carrying out the Real Work Lecture - Mental Revolution (KKN-RM) in the local village.
Live Febrilia, one of the students, welcomed the invitation for cooperation from the Village Government.
“We are open, We are very enthusiastic about playing a role for the Bodag Community,” explained Vivi.
