Increase Independence from an Early Age, IAIN Tulungagung Mental Revolution KKN Students Hold Active Savings Socialization

PELVIC – Participants in the Mental Revolution KKN post II Banjar Village held the first agenda of the Mental Revolution program, Saturday (03/08/2019). Namely, socialization of active savings and education on the introduction of the rupiah. This activity is packaged with a theme “Love Indonesia, Get to know Rupiah”.

To be precise, at the Banjar Village Hall, this event started at 10.00 WIB targeting elementary and MI students in the village. The event was attended by Village Officials, Chairman of the Youth Organization, Chairman of the Ansor, Chairman of IPNU IPPNU and participants in this socialization went smoothly. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the delegation from all elementary and middle schools accompanied by their teachers.

Yusuf Effendi, as a speaker at this event, he began to explain the importance of the culture of saving. Not infrequently in the middle of delivering material, The teacher, who is familiarly known as Mr. Pendi, provides a piece of motivation to the students.

“Saving is for the future,” he said to the socialization participants.

The spirit of saving is important to implement from an early age. Especially at elementary school age.

After motivating students, This relatively young teacher did not forget to explain the characteristics of the authenticity of rupiah currency. Because the aim of this event is none other than to increase the enthusiasm for saving and provide understanding to the socialization participants about the authenticity of rupiah currency..

“The characteristics of the authenticity of rupiah currency can be recognized by the term 3D”, he explained.

Seen, Touched, and Ditrawang is an abbreviation of 3D. Not only introducing the term 3D, The organizers and presenters also invited students to practice how 3D is applied. It was very clear that the students really enjoyed every practice they carried out.
