Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung State Islamic University will soon release students who will carry out Real Work Lectures (KKN). In order to prepare these students, UIN Satu held a Grand Istighasah which was attended by Prof. Dr. H. Drink Naim, M.Pd.I as Chair of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) and Prof. Dr. H. Abd. Aziz, M.Pd.I as Chancellor of UIN Satu.
In his speech, Prof. Ngainun Naim reported that KKN is one of UIN Satu's flagship programs which aims to serve the community and increase awareness and active participation of students in community development. “KKN is not just a routine activity, but also as a vehicle to hone students' abilities to serve themselves to society,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Abd Aziz in his briefing emphasized the importance of KKN as a means of increasing awareness and active participation of students in community development. “This KKN must be a momentum for students to learn directly about societal problems and find the right solutions to solve them,” he stressed.
It is hoped that Istighasah Akbar will provide spiritual and mental preparation for students who will carry out KKN. Thus, they can carry out KKN well and make a positive contribution to society.
