TRENGGALEK – A waterfall was discovered by the community and KKN students from IAIN Tulungagung. The waterfall is in Wonokerto Village, Suruh District, Trenggalek Regency. The location can be reached approx 30 minutes from Trenggalek city center.
According to residents' testimony, Actually, there are people who already know about this waterfall and have wanted to use it for tourism. However, Due to several reasons until now this intention has not been carried out.
“Actually, the waterfall is attached to forestry land which is cultivated by residents. But access is still difficult", said Mbah Nyoto, one of the village elders who was part of the search group with KKN students.

In his statement, when we met at the Curuk location, Building Shoes (the village where the waterfall was found) admitted that this was the first time he had been to this location.
"Just be honest, But. I just came here for the first time. Before this I had only heard stories from residents. Look at the existing conditions, I am optimistic that this will become a favorite tourist attraction, what is more important is being able to help the economy of local residents,” he said.
It adds, The community is ready to help KKN students develop the location into a tourist attraction.
”Later we can work together to improve access to this location,” he said.
Meanwhile Anggakafi, as head of the post 2 IAIN Tulungagung KKN student in Wonokerto Village said, Without further delay, his party will make this waterfall the main project. (grains)
