BANGSRI, LOOKING – In the context of greening land in the Village Bangsri, Nglegok District, Real Work College Students (KKN) IAIN Tulungagung together with the National Police Chief and Village Heads throughout Nglegok District carried out activities reforestation and tree planting including avocado and durian trees. Greening This is done to prevent natural disasters such as floods and landslides, as well increase the types of plants in Bangsari village and the results from this planting can be enjoyed by the villagers in the future.

If we look around this area there are many empty land, and is rarely used by local residents because lack of knowledge about land management, even though the land here is very fertile and can be planted with any plants. Seeing this opportunity we as Real Work College Students (KKN) which is located in Bangsri Village did collaborate with the village head and local police chief to participate in tree planting event in Bangsari village. The plants we plant are trees Fruits There are several fruit plants prepared by the committee.

“Reforestation activities by planting trees were carried out to prevent natural disasters such as floods and landslides and add Types of plants that exist in Bangsari village. It also happens that all the trees will the garden was obtained from rocks from the Mojokerto City Government", said the Village Chief local.

This is highly appreciated and fully supported by village officials and also the local community because they saw it very well the results or impacts produced. The tree planting was carried out on the day Wednesday, 15 January 2020 on the land that has been prepared starting at 09.30 until finish. The first initial tree planting was carried out by the District Police Chief The Nglegok was then forwarded by the sub-district head as supporting evidence full of activities, and then continued by all sub-district heads/heads village in Nglegok District. We as KKN students are located in Bangsri Village also participated in making this activity a success.

Finally, after the tree planting activity was completed It is hoped that the community can take part in caring for and protecting the trees that have been planted The people around Bangsri Village can benefit from this tree. Apart from that, it is hoped that the community can also develop or grow it new plant seeds to be replanted so that they are preserved.
