Places of worship are of course synonymous with being holy and clean. Especially for Muslims who are taught about thaharah themselves.
The cleanliness of mosques and prayer rooms in this case deserves important attention. As an IAIN student, when he first came to Bulurejo hamlet, Madjid's condition also attracted our attention.
Since the first few days of our arrival, Sunday to be exact (12/01/20) Community service movements at mosques began to be carried out regularly. On that day, we left at half past 9 morning to start community service.
Next, we started cleaning several sides of the mosque, starting from sweeping the whole thing, mop the terrace, to cleaning the grass in the yard. Some things that we highlight are:, It seems that attention to the cleanliness of this mosque needs to be increased further.
Although basically construction of a new building next door is currently underway. At least with the increasing cleanliness of the room, Worship activities here are increasingly comfortable. Likewise, learning activities remember that every afternoon the mosque is used for Madrasah Diniyah.
Alhamdulillah, So far, community service activities at Madjid Darussalam by KKN IAIN Tulungagung students have been running 2 kali.
After that Sunday, Activities are held again on Friday (17/01/20), precisely before Friday prayers are held. This Friday community service activity is carried out in order to prepare the mosque for cleanliness and holiness for Friday prayers..
For us, it is very important to promote this activity to ensure the sanctity of the mosque and increase the comfort of praying Friday prayers there.. Especially considering that there are quite a lot of Friday prayer congregations at the Darussalam Mosque.
Future plans, Routine community service activities at the Darussalam Mosque will continue to be carried out during the KKN period in Bulurejo Hamlet. We also plan to invite Madrasah Diniyah students to continue this routine activity.
The aim is to familiarize them with always caring about the cleanliness of the mosque as a place of worship for Muslims, especially the Darussalam Mosque, which they visit every day.
Besides that, We also hope that this activity will continue even though the KKN period has ended. Well done by teenagers, Madin community and students around the mosque.
Apart from the mosque, This routine community service program will also be carried out regularly by Resapombo Village KKN students (post 1) at the Bulurejo Hamlet hall. This location is also widely used for various important activities of the village community.
