Social Service Cleaning Mosques in Pucung Lor Village, Ngantru District

Waiting in line, Tulungagung- During this pandemic, IAIN Tulungagung campus carries out Virtual KKN from Home (VDR KKN). Even though the pandemic conditions did not dampen the service of the KKN-VDR group 102 to continue serving. The VDR-102 KKN group is located in Pucung Lor Village, Ngantru District, Tulungagung Regency.

In this selected village, KKN group 102 does not have a command post, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Even though they don't live or stay overnight in the village, KKN group 102 continue to serve with all efforts that are expected to have a beneficial effect.

Because it is still in the atmosphere of the Covid-19 pandemic, This social service activity continues to be implemented social distancing and implementing health protocols. Wash your hands before and after activities and must wear a mask. This activity involves group members 102 which is in the Kediri residency area.

In order to comply with government policies that apply PPKM (Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities). Which is still implemented in several cities or districts. Even though it is virtual, at least real work can still be dedicated to society.

One of the activities is social service by cleaning the mosque with IPNU friends from Pucung Lor village. On 14 February 2021 coincides on Sunday.

Before the start of the activity, members of the group 102 along with IPNU colleagues gathered at the Pucung Lor Village hall to coordinate with each other. During the implementation, they are divided into several groups according to the number of mosques to be cleaned.

With the help of IPNU friends, they worked together to clean the mosque. Followed by cleaning the mosque with IPNU colleagues. With the presence of IPNU colleagues, they can help KKN group friends in reaching every mosque in Pucung Lor Village.

After the cleaning session is complete, Next, the Al-Qur'an and rubbish bins were handed over to each mosque. In this way, it is hoped that there will be long-term benefits from the group 102, in Pucung Lor village, Ngantru subdistrict.

And with the social service of cleaning the mosque, you can take care of the pilgrims who worship and maintain its cleanliness and purity. Hopefully this offline activity can increase solidarity between group members and the group with the village.
