KKN, Posyandu, and Bago

NEW, TULUNGAGUNG – One of the divisions of real work lecture activities (KKN) UIN SATU Tulungagung, namely the village division, is tasked with carrying out routine activities carried out in Bago sub-district, namely assisting local Posyandu activities. This activity at the Posyandu was attended by several KKN students from the rural division who were scheduled to be on duty today, including Silvia Nova Audina, Princess Sulistyowati, Dadang Heru Jatmiko, and was also represented by one of the KKN students from the documentation division, namely Nila Andarista.

This activity to help Posyandu was carried out on Wednesday, 9 February 2022 which is located at Posyandu Balita III RT.02 RW.02 Chapter III, Bago sub-district, Tulungagung. The main aim of this activity is to help create and realize government programs related to the health of toddlers and also pay attention to adequate nutrition and growth so that stunting or chronic malnutrition in toddlers can be prevented..

Today, for activities carried out at Posyandu there are 2 namely weighing and distributing vitamin A for toddlers. The routine weighing of toddlers at Posyandu aims to find out early or detect whether the baby is healthy or has certain symptoms of illness so that it can be prevented beforehand., check the completeness of immunizations and later receive nutritional counseling. Meanwhile, the provision of vitamin A at Posyandu is carried out to prevent toddlers from lacking vitamin A and can reduce the risk of toddlers contracting various kinds of infectious diseases so it is very important for toddlers to get enough vitamin A.. Activities run smoothly, The local community is happy to provide positive support for the activities carried out. Of course, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the community and also students participating in KKN are orderly carrying out activities in accordance with health protocols.. It is hoped that the implementation of this activity will provide new experiences for students to get involved directly and participate in providing services to the wider community. We, the students, also hope that in the future we can mobilize and develop other activities with active participation from local residents in accordance with the needs of the Bago sub-district community..
