Before the D-day, the economic division had prepared well in advance regarding the equipment and technical implementation of the waste bank. The equipment that needs to be prepared is a savings book and ledger as well as other stationery.
This waste bank system or concept is the collection of inorganic waste once a month. The resulting fund system or money earned is a savings system. The money from waste collection will be saved and distributed twice a year.
In Jajar village itself, plans to provide a waste bank already existed in the era of the previous leader. However, several things hampered it so that in the end the place which was previously planned as a waste bank storage site ended up becoming a reyeng collection site.
Before planning the garbage bank work program, The economic division has coordinated with the village head the existence of a waste bank program. He strongly supports the programs of the economic division.
After receiving a good response from the village head. Economics division students surveyed several residents to find out the community's response to the existence of a waste bank. Don't forget to coordinate with the local RT head regarding the program.
This Waste Bank involves the village government and the Jajar village community as well as collectors and waste bank managers. Because it's still the first, on that day the technical implementation was the first, Waste bank members came to the RT's house 14 by bringing trash and savings paper.
Second, After delivering the trash, people don't have to wait long, They will be asked to go home first because the total funds collected from the waste will still be processed by the waste bank management.
Third, Waste bank officers will deliver savings books to the homes of waste bank members. As well as explaining the amount obtained and re-coordinating the recapitulation of waste bank results in the available WhatsApp group.
The purpose of this waste bank is summarized in various aspects, both from an environmental and economic perspective. Judging from the environment, this waste bank program aims to preserve nature by keeping the environment clean so that there is no rubbish scattered around, wasted, and causes air pollution by the process of burning waste.
Apart from that, waste can also have economic value. With this program, it is hoped that it can increase residents' income. It can also meet people's needs with a savings system or in the form of basic necessities that come from the proceeds from the waste bank.
