Tulungagung, 8 Mei 2023 – State Islamic University (UIN) Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung held important outreach regarding the implementation of community service and improving the quality of BOPTN scientific journals 2023. This event was held online via the Zoom platform and was attended by a large number of participants from various academic circles.
This event was opened with remarks by the Chair of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M), which emphasizes the importance of community service as one of the main pillars in the tridharma of higher education. He also underlined that improving the quality of scientific journals is essential to maintain academic credibility and integrity.
“Community service is a concrete manifestation of the role of academics in making positive contributions to wider society. Besides that, High quality scientific journals are a reflection of scientific progress produced by researchers,” said the Chairman of LP2M in his speech.
Furthermore, The Head of the Community Service Center delivered material regarding strategies and concrete steps in carrying out effective and sustainable community service. He also discussed ways to improve the quality of scientific journals so they can compete at national and international levels.
“We must always innovate in serving the community, and ensure that every program we implement has a real positive impact. Besides that, we must also focus on improving the quality of scientific journals through improving the quality of research and writing,” explained the Head of the Community Service Center.
It is hoped that this socialization will provide insight and motivation for academics and researchers at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung to continue to strive to improve the quality of their community service and scientific publications..
