Thursday, 23 October 2025 — LP2M as the epicenter of development activities in the aspects of research and community service has again collaborated with educational institutions in the Mataraman area. On this occasion, the collaboration is packaged in the SME framework (Cooperation Agreement). This collaboration was carried out with MI Miftahul Huda Pucung, Waiting in line, Tulungagung.

The PKS implementation was carried out at the LP2M UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung Office. Present on this occasion was the Chairman of LP2M UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, Prof. Dr. Drink Naim, M.H.I. with the Heads of the Center (Goal-keeper) and staff.

The Chairman of LP2M with a fresh smile said that "We are very happy, for this inter-institutional collaboration. Of course, this collaboration involves UPB because the one who has the substantive expertise and human resources is P2B. This activity is an important aspect of community service, The results can be used as evidence for institutional accreditation and institutional development in the educational context. Previously, LP2M had collaborated with several regional institutions, national, and also internationally”.

Also present at this PKS was the Language Development Center (P2B) UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, namely Prof. Dr. Erna Iftanti as chairman of UPT P2B, convey that "Openly, We responded positively to this collaboration, We are ready to develop and collaborate with partner institutions, Of course, this is also part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education for lecturers at our institution”.

Meanwhile from partner institutions, namely attended by the Chairman of the Foundation Management, Mr. Ali Muhson Bustomi and the Head of the Madrasah, Mrs. Siti Kustiani, M.Pd. In his speech, Mr. Ali delivered:

Thank you for the positive response to our proposed collaboration, Of course we need input and assistance for madrasa development, The current madrasa trend in terms of students is decreasing. Our foundation has institutions starting from PAUD, RA, and MI. For the programs that we have implemented, the Tahfidz program, we want more than that, we want to become a bilingual madrasa, Students are expected to be able to speak Arabic and English, then we also want to brand the madrasah on social media, so that it is better known to the wider community, especially the local community. Then we also want to reorganize educators in the HR aspect“.

This PKS is part of the initial efforts to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, encourage innovation in joint program development, and strengthening long-term relationships between institutions. (fahru)
