LP2M UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung Holds Research Coaching Series 6

Tulungagung, 13 August 2024 – Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung holds Coching Research Series 6. Executed at 09.00 WIB this event was held at the Rectorate Building. Prof. Dr. Mufliha Wijayanti, M.Si. from IAIN Metro Lampung acted as a speaker on the theme Research Trends Based on Gender Studies at PTKIN. The event was held as an academic response to the widespread acts of sexual misconduct and harassment in the lecture environment. Indonesia is disturbed by the increasing number of cases of harassment and rape or any despicable act that demeans the dignity of other people. Therefore, holding this event aims to look at the academic side and provide ethical solutions to the prevalence of cases like this.

In the opening speech of the Head of LP2M Prof. Ngainun Na'im emphasized how important events like this are. This step is an effort and preventive action against the rise of sexual harassment, both in the general public and on campus. Therefore, as educated and academic people, Striving to prevent sexual deviation from spreading through research and scientific approaches is something that must be done.
