LP2M UIN SATU Tulungagung Holds Socialization and Capacity Building for PPKS Task Force

Tulungagung, 13 August 2024 – Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung held outreach and capacity building for the Task Force for Preventing and Handling Sexual Violence (PPKS Task Force) in the Rectorate Building Hall on the third floor. This event was opened by the Chancellor of UIN SATU, Prof. Dr. Abdul Aziz, M.Pd, and was attended by a number of campus officials, including Vice Chancellor I Prof. Dr. Badruzzaman Century, M.Ag, Deputy Chancellor II Dr. Phil Saifuddin Zuhri, and Head of LP2M Prof. Dr. Na’im Na’im, M.Hi. Also present were deans from various faculties. In the event, material delivered by Dr. Ceremonies, M.A. from UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim, and Prof. Dr. Mufliha Wijayanti, M.Si. from IAIN Metro Lampung.

Prof. Ngainun Na'im in his speech emphasized the importance of this event as a preventive measure against the rise of sexual harassment, both in the general public and on campus. Meanwhile, Chancellor of UIN SATU, Prof. Dr. Abdul Aziz, M.Pd, directing the PPKS Task Force to integrate their programs with the Integrity Committee, to ensure strong synergy and more effective goal achievement. This event was followed with full respect by the invited guests, which includes students, academic community, and members of external organizations working in the field of women's affairs.
