Mataram, 18 October 2024 – LP2M UIN SATU Tulungagung succeeded in winning the award as Middle Rank Gender Responsive Higher Education at the 3rd Gender and Child Study Center Conference held at the Grand Legi Hotel, Mataram, NTB. The conference took place from the date 15 until 18 October 2024 This was attended by representatives from 58 Islamic universities in Indonesia.

This award was given in recognition of LP2M UIN SATU Tulungagung's efforts in promoting gender equality and child protection through various programs and research. Chancellor of UIN Mataram, Prof. Dr. H. Masnun Tahir, M.Ag., in his speech stated that this award was proof of the university's commitment to addressing gender and child issues.

PTKI Director, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Zainul Hamdi, M.Ag., emphasizes the importance of a deep and comprehensive understanding of gender issues, which is also the main focus of this conference. Meanwhile, Fathan, M.Si., from LP2M UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, adding that men's involvement in understanding and overcoming the gender crisis is very important.

With this award, It is hoped that LP2M UIN SATU Tulungagung can continue to contribute to creating an academic environment that is responsive to gender and children's issues, and become an example for other universities in Indonesia.
