PELVIC – Tracing the history of the village is difficult. Reason, no data is stored properly. So, there needs to be more energy to collect the debris of stories about the history of the village. Including in Besuki Village, Panggul Trenggalek District.
IAIN Tulungagung KKN students started an activity agenda to trace the history of Besuki Village. The process was guided by the Head of Bangunsari Hamlet. Start by going to a location that is quite far from people's houses. Namely, tomb of the late first Head of Besuki Village, Mbah Suki.
Mbah Suki's grave is marked with a stone. So Kasun Bangunsari had a little difficulty distinguishing between the graves there. There is one section where there are four tombs which have been demarcated.
That's what he said, The grave is of an elder of Besuki Village. After that, we continued our journey to a place where there was a water source. That is under the tomb of Mbah Suki. It is said that this source will not dry up even if there is a long dry season. This water continues “seep” and the location is right under Mbah Suki's grave.
So the origin of Besuki Village is that there is a water source known as “secretion” which is right under the tomb of Mbah Suki. Base from the word secretion. To, from the words of Mbah Suki.
After that, we continued our journey to a place known as Tempuran. Tempuran is where other rivers meet. The hamlet head also explained the history of this Temperament river.
That's what he said, a long time ago when the Village Head was at home alone. Nah, While he was alone, a group of robbers came who wanted to loot his house. But immediately the Village Head bent over the coconut tree. After that, he told the robber to sit on a fallen coconut trunk .
The robber remained silent until the village head came home. After some time, the village head finally returned home. After that, one of the robbers was killed.

After that we were invited to a place known as “Lumpang Stone” And “June stone”. Mr. Kasun explained the mystery of the lumpang stones and jun stones. This june stone is shaped exactly like a large and long pile of wood. Surprisingly, all these stones are arranged facing north.
This mortar stone is shaped like a normal mortar. It is said that the story of this June stone is that a guardian will build a large mosque and it will be erected yesterday. But in the middle of building a mosque, Suddenly the guardian was surprised by a girl who was pounding rice.
At that moment all the wood turned to stone and the construction of the mosque did not continue. And the wood is now known as batu jun. And this mortar stone will always return to its place. Even if it was stolen by irresponsible people. (*)
