NGERDAN – In order to implement the work program of the Health and Environment division in the Real Work Lecture Wave II IAIN Tulungagung in Ngerdani Village, Dongko District, Trenggalek Regency, The students carried out Iodized Salt monitoring program activities and posyanu activities in the Ngerdani community.
This activity was carried out at Mrs. Yem's house. Yem's mother is a posyandu cadre, his house is located near SDN 3 Ngerdani. This activity was carried out on Tuesday 6 August 2019.
Within the scope of the Health and Environment work program, the Health division carried out Iodized Salt monitoring program activities and posyanu activities in the Ngerdani community which were attended by posyandu cadres, one of whom was the wife of the head of the Ngerdani subdistrict and friends.- friends from the health division and assisted by several other divisions. Apart from that, this activity was attended by the RT community 20 in carrying out routine posyandu activities. And the event lasted from the hour 08.00- 10.00 WIB.
During the monitoring event, the Ngerdani community carried out Iodized Salt monitoring program activities (room) Those who take part in posyandu activities are asked to bring salt so that later we can test it with liquid from PONKESDES. From the monitoring we record the names of toddlers., parents' name, address, form of salt, name/brand of salt, where to buy salt, test results and storage place.
We will submit the monitoring data to PONKESDES to find out how much the public understands about good levels of iodized salt. From the research results, the people of Ngerdani still don't know how to store salt properly so that the iodine content in salt can be reduced or lost..
And from this activity we provide outreach about storing salt properly so as not to reduce the iodine content in the salt.
The posyandu activities carried out at the home of one of the posyandu cadres' homes from friends helped the cadre mothers in carrying out their duties, including weighing toddlers., measuring the height of the toddlers and assisting in providing vitamins to the posyandu cadre mothers. Next, the cadre's mother, one of whom is the wife of the village head, gave instructions about healthy living which must be implemented at an early age..
In this activity, the Health division shared the task of monitoring iodized salt tests, Posyandu activities and documentation were all carried out well and satisfactorily. (It's cool)
