SUKOKIDUL, TRENGGALEK – Saturday, 3 August 2019, KKN students at RM IAIN Tulungagung, Sukokidul Village post 1 held a reading garden at Mbah Kabul's house in Sukorejo Hamlet. This was welcomed by the local community. This was proven by the enthusiasm of the children and parents in bringing their children to the post 1 to attend and be involved in the reading garden agenda. The reading garden is entitled “I Read to You”.

“Actually, the name of the reading park was given I Read For You I do this because I meet many people who are still reluctant to read, therefore when they refuse to read. I'll read to them." Said Ilma, one of the post members 1.

The agenda took place at 14.00-16.30 WIB. The activity began with the children reading together starting from reading comics, magazines etc. Then, followed by a quiz and giving prizes to children who can answer several questions that have been asked.

Furthermore, Fellow students put on a drama in front of the children and their parents to entertain them and encourage them to take lessons from the drama that has been presented. The event then closed with prayers together.

According to Ringga, one of the originators of the idea of ​​this reading park, it was held to see the enthusiasm of the local community regarding literacy culture, one of which is reading.

“Seeing the enthusiasm of the local community is good, I will try to offer PEMDES Sukokidul to establish it (PERPUSED) Village Library, "After we finish the KKN, there will still be similar activities in Sukokidul village." he said. A'raf (Command Post 1)
