DEVELOPMENT – The community in Kembangan Village continues to carry out activities to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia . These include volleyball competitions and competitions for small children. The opportunity was given to IAIN Tulungagung KKN students to participate in enlivening this very special event. This competition event was organized by RT 01 & RT 02 .
It can be seen that in Kembangan Village, the people are very united and enthusiastic about holding regular events like this. This can be seen by each RT holding its own PHBN event. Although the development village itself also has regular events.
The residents of Kembangan enthusiastically welcomed this event, looking happy and excited. This can be seen from the large number of people who participated in the event, from children to the elderly.
Laughter and excitement were clearly visible in this event, especially when parents are competing on stilts. There were those who fell, there were also those who couldn't get up from the starting line. The most important thing in this event is participating, not looking for who loses and who wins, none other than the solidarity and togetherness of the residents of Kembangan village.
This competition event was held in the field behind Kembangan Elementary School. The competitions here include competitions for the adult and children categories. For the adult category, the competition is in the form of stilt racing, clogs, carry the ring, and sack racing. Meanwhile, in the children's category, there is marble racing, eat crackers, and balloon headers.
The competition event was also enlivened by the presence of musical group entertainment and developing youth creativity.Ardean music” . Kembangan teenagers showed off each other to show off the art performance that had been planned for a long time to be displayed at the event. Many of the participants in this competition were children from outside the RT 01 and RT 02, none other than the neighboring villages, namely Pakel village and Joho village. Meanwhile, many people from teenagers to older people were also seen from outside the RT 01 and RT 02.
In this event, we, KKN students, also took part in the preparation program, pre event, the core of the event and until the event is all finished. Because the equipment and so on in this event are from the residents and neighbors themselves, Don't rent or bring in from outside for the sound system or decoration.
And our task here is divided into several parts, There are those who are assigned to prepare the event because there is no preparation for the event 1 birthday, but a few days, from starting meetings to preparing to look for bamboo, arrange the field used for the competition.
Some are part of the competition committee, including MC, judge in the competition. Some also sing in the group ardeska music to contribute several songs to entertain the competition participants and spectators who poured out on the field. And there were also those who participated as competition participants to enliven the competition, but none of these KKN students won..
According to local residents we met, This event at RT is still the first to be held, with the hope that this RT can hold the same event every year. It is hoped that this event will foster a spirit of proclamation and high sportsmanship in every competition. (*)
