Jum’at, 09 August 2019. IAIN Tulungagung KKN students held a "Tilawah Development" event at the Baitul Mukminin mosque, Krajan hamlet, Desa Salamwates, Dongko sub-district, Trenggalek district.

It is known that this activity had never previously been held in Krajan Hamlet, but because some KKN students who are located in this village have talent in the science of reciting the Qur'an and have a desire to teach the community, Finally, this very noble activity was held.

Before holding this activity, let's say Asma' as a KKN student in Salamwates village, expressed her intentions to Muhammad Khoirul Malik as Field Supervisor (DPL) when visiting the Salamwates post 1.

The Asma' idea received a warm welcome from Malik and was approved as a program that will be implemented throughout 45 next day. After consulting with Malik, Asma' expressed her ideas regarding the recitation development activities to Suparno as the Head of Salamwates Village..

Asma's proposal apparently also received a warm welcome from Suparno, considering that in Salamwates village there is no reliable generation of Qori'-Qori'ah. Then Suparno proposed to collaborate with the IPNU-IPPNU youth from Salamwates village.

After Asma' and her KKN friends held a deliberation with the IPNU-IPPNU youth from Salamwates village, Finally, it was mutually agreed that this Tilawah training would take place on Friday at 14.00 WIB until finished and Sunday at 09.00 WIB until finished.

The supervisor of this activity is none other than Asma' Barirotul Chotimah as a KKN student from Salamwates village 1. Asma' is a student majoring in Arabic Language Education who is also a member of Tilawah IAIN Voice. Pamphlets and brochures have been created and distributed. Finally, this activity was carried out smoothly. In the first week, this activity was initially only followed 3 participant, then in the second week the participants increased by as much 10 participant. A very grateful development.

Hopefully, the presence of KKN students in Salamwates village this time will be able to provide more benefits to the community, and with this Al-Qur'an Recitation Development activity, it is able to produce a generation of Qori'-Qori'ah in Salamwates village which is beneficial for the Nusa and the Nation.
