GOODS, TRENGGALEK – 13 August 2019, KKN Goods post 2 has implemented a work program with the theme United Indonesia. The title of our third work program is "Nguri - Nguri Islamic Culture".
The resource person for this activity was Dr. H. M. Muntahibun Nafis, M.Ag. he is the Director of the IAIN Tulungagung Islamic Boarding School Study Center. This third work program was attended by Barang Village Officials, religious leaders, youth organization, and the people of Barang village. This work program started at 19.00 WIB. This third work program has gone well.
This work program starts from the pre-event which is filled with prayer chants from the hadrah group TPQ Al Huda Barang Village. Then continued with the reading of the holy verses of the Koran sung by M. Fahmi Khoiron. After that, followed by remarks from the chief executive, Aan Fachrudin. Don't forget the welcome speech from the Head of Barang village and closed with a prayer represented by Mr Rubangi as the religious figure of Barang village.
Kiai Nafis said that Tuesday's evening event was about the importance of maintaining the unity of the Republic of Indonesia and preserving Islamic culture. One of the performers was the gentlemen's prayer group with the oldest drum musical instrument that only exists in Barang village, In this case, the speaker said that this culture really needs to be preserved, namely by preparing the next generation.
”This can be done by providing training to children who are able. That way, when its predecessor is gone, this culture will still be legendary and sustainable,” he said.
Kiai Nafis continued, the importance of maintaining the unity of the Republic of Indonesia by being wary of incoming radicalism, You can be aware of this by understanding the characteristics of deviant understanding. By affirming our commitment to continue fighting radicalism, Indirectly, we contribute to maintaining the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.
”By spreading the message of peace to the entire community, Indirectly, we actively participate in preventing the entry of radicalism. The younger generation has become victims enough, Don't let there be any more violence in the name of religion in this religious country.
