Slowly Tulungagung (01/12/2019), In commemoration of World AIDS Day , Local government (LOCAL GOVERNMENT) huge (AIDS Commission ) Tulungagung Regency held an Edutaimen event, Mass aerobics and Zumba Party. To enliven the event, all agencies in Tulungagung Regency received invitations, including IAIN Tulungagung. In this event, the Chancellor of IAIN Tulungagung, Mr. Prof. Dr. Maftukhin, M.Ag assigned the head of PSGA, Mrs. Dr. Sulistyorini, M.Ag to attend the event by joining 10 people.
World AIDS Day falls on Sunday 1 December 2019, and the long-awaited day has arrived, On that sunny morning the PSGA chairman headed to the IAIN Tulungagung campus at around 12:00 05.00, and when he arrived at campus several students were waiting for him, after several minutes of waiting for students who had not yet arrived, Finally the total number had arrived and we all left together for the Tulungagung alon-alon. When we arrived at the Tulungagung alon-alon park, precisely in front of the DPRD, the atmosphere was very busy. This event was enlivened by thousands of Tulungagung residents from various agencies who were very enthusiastic about taking part in the event from at 06:00 until o'clock 09:00 WIB. The participants who took part in the event were the most dominant 85% from mothers- Mother, young people and the rest are fathers- father and small children.
The morning program included education about HIV/AIDS in collaboration with the Tulungagung district health service. The Edutaimen event was attended by a team from the Health Service, one of them is a doctor, he repeatedly appealed to the public not to avoid people who are sick with HIV/AIDS but to avoid the disease and not to contract the disease.. The next event was aerobics exercise which was very lively and the residents of Tulungagung were very enthusiastic about taking part in the Aerobics exercise event. Apart from that, there was also a distribution of Dorprise to the people of Tulungagung for free with lots of prizes., so that Tulungagung residents actively participate in following the event until it is finished. Apart from that, the mass Aerobics and Zumba Party organizing committee also provides the people of Tulungagung with free health checks and even offers for 5 The first participant received a gift without drawing from the committee who wanted a free health check about HIV/AIDS.
“The event to commemorate AIDS Day was very lively, We as students are also very grateful to the committee who have prepared this event, said our students, because of me especially, gained a lot of knowledge about the dangers of promiscuity because promiscuity has the potential to contract HIV &AIDS, This event really cares about the community, and hopefully this event will bring goodness and benefits, especially to the people of Tulungagung and generally to the Indonesian people in saving the younger generation from promiscuity” said Afif, one of the IAIN Tulungagung students.
The event ended with distribution dorprise, Because dorprise very much takes a long time until daylight is finished. Events like this need to be promoted every year so that the nation's future generations can be saved from the dangers of HIV/AIDS.
