Resapombo, Doc– Sunday, 12 January 2020, post 2 Resapombo carries out community service activities with the people of Wonorejo Hamlet. The community service took place at RT. 01 RW. 01 Wonorejo Hamlet, Resapombo Village, Doko District, Blitar Regency.
This devotional work is carried out at 07.00 until o'clock 10.00 WIB. This community service was carried out with the aim of clearing thick grass around roads and ditches. This was done to facilitate the road asphalting process carried out by the Resapombo Village government, Doko District, Blitar Regency.
Community service activities like this are carried out routinely by the people of Wonorejo Hamlet when the grass is thick or when welcoming big holidays., such as Islamic holidays and Christmas holidays. Community service seems to be rooted in the lives of the village community, especially Wonorejo Hamlet, Resapombo Village, Doko District, Blitar Regency.
Apart from being an activity to clean the environment, This activity is also used as a gathering place between the community and real work college students who work in Wonorejo Hamlet..
Activities like this are attended by the entire community, both young and old, men and women, they work together to take part in these community service activities.. Apart from society, Real Work Lecture students also took part in these community service activities.
Especially Real Work Lecture students from post two located in RT 02 RW 02, they were moved to take part in community service activities represented by six men and also assisted by Real Work Lecture Students from post one who sent representatives of six men.
Apart from men who contribute their energy, In this activity, women do not want to lose out, they take part by preparing snacks such as fried foods, fruits, and other- other, and drinks, like coffee, and tea.
This is done by students as a form of student social service to the community. According to information from one of the residents of Wonorejo Hamlet, The road asphalting carried out by the Resapombo Village Government should be carried out in the RT 02 RW 02. However, Road asphalting is actually carried out in RT 01 RW 02 even in the area before entering Wonorejo Hamlet. This is because people prefer to prioritize roads that are in a badly damaged condition so as not to endanger the safety of road users.
From the people of Wonorejo Hamlet, we can see that solidarity is still very well maintained at a time when city people tend to act and behave individualistically.
