The opening ceremony for the Regular Multisectoral KKN in Sumbeagung Village, Gandusari District, Blitar Regency was held on Tuesday, 14 January 2020. This activity was attended by the Head of Sumberagung Village, all village officials, head of RT 01-09 along with the RW chairman 02. Also present was the District Coordinator (Korcam) Gandusari, also a delegation from Karang Taruna and Sumberagung village midwives.
The opening ceremony starts at 10.00 until 12.00 WIB at the Sumberagung Village Hall went smoothly. Starting from the opening, recitation of the holy verses of the Qur'an, sing Indonesia Raya, remarks from the Village Coordinator, District Coordinator, and the Village Head, which was then continued with the cutting of the tumpeng by the Village Head as a symbolic form of the opening of the Regular Multisectoral KKN in Sumberagung Village in 2020. The activity ended with a prayer and closing.
In the village head's speech, He said that he was happy to open and accept a number of KKN students from IAIN Tulungagung 39 people, divided into 2 group, to carry out Real Work Lecture activities in Sumberagung Village and explain the potential that exists in Sumberagung village which will later be used as material for the KKN student work program.
"With the Real Work Lecture activities in Sumberagung village, it is hoped that we can help to advance Sumberagung village with its existing potential," he said. From this statement, KKN students become more motivated and try to carry out the mandate and responsibilities that will be carried out in Real Work Lecture activities in Sumberagung village.
The process of cutting the tumpeng was carried out by Mr. Sugiono as the Head of Sumberagung Village which was then handed over to the KKN student representatives as a symbolic form of the opening of the Regular Multisectoral KKN and as a form of acceptance for KKN students to carry out programs that can help advance Sumberagung village..
