Besole, Besuki – Real Work Study Students (KKN) IAIN Tulungagung participated in the event of receiving production equipment assistance by the Social Service to home industry groups, 21 January 2020. Located in the Sidem meeting hall, This event was attended by the Social Service, Sidem Home Industry Group, village officials, along with the surrounding community.
A series of events in the form of an opening, celebrations, symbolic handover of industrial equipment, handover signing, closing, then continued with a friendly manner. The production equipment provided is a gas stove, oven, freezer, and other kitchen equipment worth Rp 46 million.
This production equipment assistance was obtained after submitting a proposal by an industrial group. These production tools will later be used by the community to develop production activities, mainly processing marine products. This industry group is a work program from the activity group (poktan) Efforts to Increase the Income of Prosperous Families (UPPKS).
Besole Village is an assisted village that is used as a Family Planning Village (KB). Family Planning Villages are a government program under the auspices of the National Population and Family Planning Agency, which aims to improve the quality of life of the community at the village level.
KB Village itself is divided into 5 poktan, namely Building Elderly Families, Build a Teen Family, Building a Toddler Family, Youth Information and Counseling Center, and UPPKS.
“There are KB villages per sub-district. KB Village is oriented towards the outskirts of the area, whose human resources are low. This KB Village is a central government program to improve the welfare of the community,"said Abdul Munib, Chairman of UPT Kampung KB.
Later receipt of production equipment, will be used as a work program from the Economic Division which will develop the production activities of the Besole community in the field of marketing fish floss. (Understand)
