Slumbung, Blitar – Integrated Service Post or what is usually called Posyandu is a health check service from, by and for communities assisted by health workers. Posyandu started by serving toddlers (immunization, weigh the body), pregnant mother, breastfeeding mothers and posyandu for the elderly or commonly called elderly posyandu. Meanwhile, posbindu or Integrated Development Post is one of the community's roles in monitoring or early detection of risk factors for PTM (Non-Communicable Diseases). These risk factors are like smoking, consumption of alcoholic beverages, unhealthy eating patterns, lack of physical activity, obesity, stress, hypertension and others.

Like in Slumbung village itself, posyandu and posbindu are held once a month. This time our health division team participated in assisting the implementation of the elderly posyandu and posbindu. Posyandu for the elderly is usually attended by pre-elderly people (starting age 45 year) and the elderly (starting age 60 year) and posbindu is attended by groups of people above the age group 15 year.

Posyandu for the elderly and posbindu in Slumbung Village are carried out at several nearby posts which are divided into each RT in Slumbung village. On 18 January 2020, posyandu for the elderly is held at the rose post which is on Rt.02 Rw.02 Gang Macan. The elderly posyandu at posyandu rose is usually attended by approx 30 pre-elderly and elderly people.

The process of running an elderly posyandu starts with the elderly entering and filling out the attendance list. Then check your weight and blood pressure. Furthermore, elderly people are advised to check their blood sugar. Meanwhile, posbindu is carried out on Monday 27 January 2020. Posbindu was held in the Sumbung village hall building and was attended by approx 40 people.

Posbindu starts with each person registering and then checking their family health history, Check your weight and abdominal circumference, check your height, blood pressure and finally, everyone will get snacks that have been prepared by the officers. This opportunity was used by the health and environmental division team to assist the posyandu and posbindu officers who were on duty.

When the elderly posyandu is implemented, we help the elderly to fill in the attendance list, also helped distribute snacks to the elderly who had had health checks. Meanwhile, during posbindu, we help check weight, abdominal circumference, and height. The aim of the elderly posyandu itself is so that the elderly can check their weight, blood pressure, and check blood sugar regularly and with the existence of an elderly posyandu, it can make it easier for the elderly to have health checks with the help of midwives on duty for free. And the goal of Posbindu is to increase the community's role in preventing and early finding risk factors for NCDs (Non-Communicable Diseases).

Posbindu has the benefit of cultivating a healthy lifestyle by behaving SMART, namely, check your health condition regularly, Get rid of cigarette smoke, Be diligent in physical activity, A healthy diet with balanced calories, Enough rest, and Manage Stress.
