UIN SATU Tulungagung Research Madrasah Team Strengthens Financial Management and Reporting Capacity at YPI Al-Amin Ngampel Kediri

Kediri, 1 December 2025 — Efforts to strengthen the governance of Islamic educational institutions are again being carried out by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung through the Research Madrasah program. This mentoring activity lasted for two days, namely Friday, 28 November 2025 and Monday, 1 December 2025, at the Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) Al-Amin Ngampel, Mojoroto District, Kediri City.

With the big theme "Strengthening Foundation Management and Financial Reporting", This activity targets increasing the competence of administrators and all teaching staff under the auspices of YPI Al-Amin, includes kindergarten, preschool, and birth control (preschool) Al-Amin Ngampel Kediri. This theme was chosen in response to the foundation's need to develop professional governance, accountable, and sustainable.


First Day: Strengthening Foundation Management to Realize Visionary Governance

On the first day, The activity was filled by three experienced speakers, namely Mr. Ahmad Natsir, Mr Hendra Afiyanto, and Mr Luthfi Abdul Manaf. All three present comprehensive material regarding the nature of foundation management, educational institution development strategy, effective organizational design, to the urgency of forming a professional work culture within the foundation.

In his presentation, the speakers emphasized that a strong foundation requires solid governance, collaborative, and adaptive to changing times. In an era of increasingly fierce educational competition, foundations need to have a clear policy direction, documented system, as well as the readiness of competent human resources. The participants seemed enthusiastic about participating in the discussion session, especially regarding how foundation management can synergize with teaching staff so that the development of the institution is more focused and has a long-term impact.


Day Two: Financial Transparency as a Pillar of Public Trust

Activities continued on the second day with a focus on Financial Reporting Management, delivered by two main sources:
Mrs. Alifarose Syahda Zahra and Mr. Muhammad Zen Masruri. Both explain the principles of preparing effective financial reports, starting from recording the budget, income and expenditure management, to presenting neat financial reports, transparent, and in accordance with educational institution reporting standards. The resource person emphasized that financial reports are not just an administrative obligation, rather, it is an important instrument that reflects the foundation's commitment to maintaining accountability and building public trust. Teachers and foundation administrators were also given examples of reporting formats and practices for preparing simple financial reports that can be directly implemented in their respective institutions.


Enthusiastic Participants, Appreciative Foundation

This two-day activity was attended by teachers and educational staff from all educational units under YPI Al-Amin Ngampel. The enthusiasm of the participants could be seen from the many questions, interactive discussion, as well as the desire to apply the material provided in institutional management. The foundation expressed its deep appreciation to LP2M UIN SATU Tulungagung for the assistance provided. This program is considered very relevant to the foundation's needs in improving the quality of management, educator professionalism, as well as administrative transparency.
