Gorontalo – Title BCRR II (The 2nd Biannual Conference on Research Result) 2022 It's over and running very interestingly, the participants and supporters were full of enthusiasm. At BCRR this time there is 4 group of competitive research results. Namely research that is provided with financial assistance through BOPTN or PNBP, dissertation results, thesis results and thesis results. Next from 4 The group is divided into 4 scientific clusters, namely scientific integration, social humanities, science and technology, and Islamic studies. The peak event was held at IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo during 3 days from Friday-Sunday, 25-27 November 2022 recorded encouraging results for UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung (UIN ONE).
UIN SATU through representation by the LP2M unit (Institute for Research and Community Service) managed to get through 1 Participants reach the final stage, namely Arijal Koiri, FEBI student (Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business) who presented the results of his thesis entitled “The Influence of Financial Performance and Company Size on the Efficiency of Bukopin Sharia Bank for the 2015-2021 Period” In the Scientific Integration cluster. Rijal, Arijal Koiri's nickname, managed to get second best place.
It is not an easy struggle for Rijal, step by step Rijal goes through with full effort that tests the mind and squeezes the brain. Selection is carried out from work unit level to Central Education and Higher Education level. In general there is 3 stages after going through satker level selection. Level First carried out by the Central Diktis to determine who will proceed to the second stage. In the first stage there were around a thousand research results submitted, This statement was delivered by the Chancellor of IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo during the closing session of the event as well as the night of the best work awards. In the first stage it is filtered into 85 by name.
Stages second is an interview conducted online, So participants must seriously prepare the applications that will be used in this interview session, including the signal that must be stable, because there are interviewers who are abroad. In the actual interview stage, UIN SATU is there 3 the name that goes in it. Namely Mivida Novi Soviana, M. Faridus Sholihin, and Arijal Koiri. Of the three, only Rijal entered the next stage.
Stages third taken 44 The nominees will then take part in a presentation at BCRR which will be held at Bumi Serambi Madinah. On this occasion, Rijal had to present the results of his research in the form of a thesis 3 minutes in front of the jury without using power point. The professors who were the judges made Rijal a little nervous but Rijal completed this stage of the presentation well. The jury present at the event was Tatang Muttaqin, S. Sos., M.Ed., Ph.D. who is the Director of Higher Education and Science and Technology at the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Prof. Dr. M. Alie Humaidi, M. Hum from BRIN (National Research and Innovation Agency), and Dr. Rizal Darwis from IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo.
“I carried out this research for years 2021 at Bank Syariah Bukopin which is motivated by the role of sharia banking as an institution intermediator which plays an important role in increasing national economic growth towards increasing social welfare through credit or financing which is required to always be efficient". Rijal explained during the presentation when revealing the background of his research.
Next, the native son of Tulungagung said:, “Please note that starting in the year 2019 Indonesia is experiencing the problem of weakening national economic conditions due to the Covid pandemic 19. This has a big influence on the emergence of company efficiency problems, especially in sharia banking. "So, these performance efficiency problems have an impact on reducing the company's efficiency level which results in layoffs.".
