JENGGLUNGHARJO, TULUNGAGUNG – On Monday 30 January 2023, Jengglungharjo I KKN's education and technology division began implementing volunteer programs in schools spread across Jengglungharjo village, Responsibility is at Dharma Wanita I Kindergarten & IV Jengglungharjo and SDN I & SDN VI Jengglungharjo. The program ends Thursday 9 February 2023.
The education and technology division team is not alone in implementing the work program, but this time accompanied by friends from other divisions from the Jengglungharjo I KKN group. The theme of the activities applied is in accordance with the schedule of events determined at each school. Some of the activities carried out by volunteers include providing guidance to students regarding school subjects and helping to clean the school environment before and after school hours..
This learning volunteer activity is actually not focused on helping to teach only, but also help with whatever activities the school needs. For example, clean offices and classrooms, fill empty classes and also help teachers in organizing administration. However, Again, this activity adapts to the needs of the school we attend.
In the activities that have been carried out today, The obstacles we experience are varied, such as the distance from the post to the location and the road terrain which was quite challenging for us, especially those who live in cities. Apart from external factors such as geographical conditions, Internal factors such as differences in study programs between volunteers also greatly influence the implementation of this work program.
In this case, Good adaptability is needed by every volunteer member. But on the other hand, The diversity of study programs is not merely an obstacle. There are several aspects that can actually create a good combination in launching this volunteer work program, just like volunteers from education-based study programs can apply and combine the knowledge they have with management and economics-based study programs.
So that the volunteer team is not only focused on the raw material in the Student Worksheet (LKS), but we can also share the knowledge we gain according to the theme we teach. After having a little discussion, we found that an obstacle, The potential and infrastructure of the schools where our activities are carried out generally have the same characteristics, such as the physical environment of the school and the social environment of the school.
Differences in existing conditions affect the level of discipline of existing human resources, starting from teaching staff to students. Based on the activities we carry out, we can conclude that the condition of a school, Both those related to environmental factors and human factors are very influential.
The level of discipline and how an educator manages the school itself, because this has become part of the autonomous right given by the center to manage its own institutions so that they become better with the aim of improving the quality of student learning and also becoming one of the school promotion events..
