MOUNTAIN GEDE, WONOTIRTO – Amil Zakat Board, Infaq, and Alms Nahdlatul Ulama or commonly known as LAZISNU is an institution that has been officially recognized by the state and has a legal role as a collector and distributor of zakat funds to the community.. This institution was born and established as a mandate from the Nahdlatul Ulama Congress (NOT) the 31st, at the Haji Donohudan dormitory, Boyolali, Central Java.
The LAZISNU program includes generating people's efforts, healthy society, educate students, and make poor orphans happy. There is also a program to raise people's businesses into superior programs as well as a community health program that stems from the scarcity of several nutritious food ingredients and the need for vitamins for the community..
Another excellent program is to educate students, this is because students are the future of this country. However, There are still many students who need help to access their studies. Like other institutions, LAZISNU also has a vision that is determined to be a manager of public funds (zakat, infa, charity, CSR, and other social funds) which is used in a trustworthy and professional manner for the empowerment of the people.
Meanwhile, its mission is to encourage the growth of public awareness about issuing zakat, infa, and charity with routine and precision; collect/gather and utilize zakat funds, infa, and charity professionally, transparent, effective and right on target; organize community empowerment programs to overcome the problem of poverty, unemployment, and lack of access to proper education.
LAZISNU Gunung Gede distributes basic necessities to the less fortunate residents of Gunung Gede Village. This activity starts at 13.00 WIB by driving a pick-up car. This activity is in collaboration with all groups in Gunung Gede Village, good group 1, 2, And 3 on 4 February 2023. The community feels happy because their daily needs are helped by programs from LAZISNU.
The existence of LAZISINU is important to bridge the gap between muzakki or people who pay zakat and mustahik or people who receive zakat.. So that allocating from zakat and alms can also be properly directed. In today's modern era, in distribution of zakat, infa, and alms to LAZISNU cannot only be distributed manually, However, it can be distributed online by transferring to an account that has been prepared by LAZISNU.
