Tulungagung, Thursday 4 July 2024 UIN Chancellor Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung released the Real Work Study students (KKN) External. On this occasion, External KKN is divided into several types, that is: International KKN in Thailand, National KKN in Ambon, KKN Nusantara Religious Moderation in Kuningan, West Java, and Commonwealth KKN in Jember and Collaboration at IAIN Ternate.
KKN, like other courses, is a course that students must carry out. Prof. Dr. Abd. Aziz, M. Pd.I. as Chancellor of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung sent off students symbolically at the Rectorate Building on the ground floor 3. Present on the occasion was the Vice Chancellor 1 Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs & Prof. Institutional Development. Dr. H. Badruzzaman Century, Lc., M.Ag., Vice Chancellor 3 Field of Student Affairs and Collaboration Prof. Dr. H. Syamsun Ni'am, M.Ag., Head of LP2M Prof. Dr. Drink Naim, M.H.I., Head of Community Service Center Dr. Muntahibun Nafis, M.Ag. and several officials within UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung.
This release also presented alumni from last year's KKN Moderation and Collaboration participants. The hope is that by presenting alumni from previous year's KKN participants, prospective participants will gain enthusiasm, motivation, and experience. Sharing Stories of experiences at KKN sites in other areas are important capital for developing strategies for adapting to a new atmosphere.
The Chancellor conveyed several important messages to students, The Professor of Learning Technology gave this message. First, The responsibility as an External KKN participant is large and heavy, Students must be able to carry it out seriously. Nevertheless, Students must have the confidence to be able to carry out these responsibilities, the Chancellor emphasized his message to students.
Second, he said that participants in this type of KKN were like campus ambassadors, symbolically and substantially, it brings the big name of the institution. Therefore it is a burden to maintain dignity, Introducing, dominating and coloring KKN activities with the knowledge and provisions taught on campus is the main task that must be implemented. Ambassadors must have more value than other participants, hence the discussion, reflection, and contextualization of the provisions that have been obtained must be used as a way to make KKN a success. This effort was carried out as an effort to make a real contribution to Indonesian society.
Third, Time is also an important part of the Chancellor's message. Students are expected to be able to utilize and maximize their time. Students have a great opportunity to dig, obtain, and processing data while serving in the context of KKN. Thus, This aspect can be used as important capital in writing a thesis or scientific writing as a student's obligation.
Fourth, as the last message, The Chancellor advised that KKN is not only related to delicious and enjoyable things, Far more than that, KKN is the implementation of a lifestyle. In it there are problems that must be resolved, then the obligation to continue to strive and try without complaining is an absolute thing that must be done.
