Dermosari, Monument – 12 August 2024 KKN in Dermosari Village has scheduled training in making logos and product labels. One of the orientations of UIN SATU Tulungagung KKN students at Dermosari Tugu is to utilize and develop the creative economic sector. One of the programs carried out is counseling, training, and assistance to MSME actors. One of several MSME actors is Emi Sugiarto, a local farmer who has the potential to develop an organic fertilizer business. This pilot was then assisted by KKN students regarding marketing management and product branding through providing product labels and logos.
The activity was carried out at the residence of Emi Sugiarto, who is none other than the Sumber Alam Fertilizer business actor. In this program, Suminto, the Head of Dermosari Village, conveyed, "I am happy that the provision of packaging and labels for fertilizer products means that this activity can increase the marketing of these products." Emi and several other business actors also expressed similar remarks.
In this case, the Economic Division provided direct assistance to Mr. Emi to discuss the type of packaging and labels that are appropriate to the characteristics of the organic fertilizer products produced.. Besides that, The economics division also conveys information about the importance of attractive and functional packaging, and how to make informative labels.
By holding this activity, it is hoped that it can have a positive impact on the business development of the local community. This activity is expected to be the first step towards better economic development.
