KKN with the theme "Multisectoral Community Empowerment Based on Digital Literacy" is one of the reasons for holding training on creating digital libraries or digital libraries.. Activities are held at SDN 1 Gondang which lasted for approximately one hour, starts at 1:00 p.m 11.00 until o'clock 12.00, with active participation from teachers and class students 5 And 6.
The material presented in this training covers several important aspects, among them is the basic introduction of the digital library concept, techniques for using the various features and tools available, as well as direct practice in creating a digital library using the Google Sites platform. During the training participants were guided in detail regarding the steps needed to create and manage an efficient and easily accessible digital library. The media used in this activity includes laptop devices brought by the coaching team, as well as supporting facilities in the form of Chromebooks which are available and owned by the school. The combination of media and facilities allows participants to directly apply the theory they have learned, thus providing a more in-depth and beneficial learning experience.
The aim of holding this training is to improve the quality of digitalization in educational institutions, especially through the development of digital libraries. With this digital library, It is hoped that this will facilitate wider access to information and references for all school components, both teachers and students. Through library digitization, every individual in the school environment can simultaneously access and use the digital book collection, without being limited by time and place. Thus, This digital library not only facilitates more flexible learning, but also enrich the available learning resources, which in the end can support improving the overall quality of education.
Besides that, This training also aims to equip teachers and students with relevant technology skills in the digital era. With mastery of technology like this, It is hoped that schools will be able to create a more interactive and innovative learning environment, and encourage the creation of a digital literacy culture among students. It is also hoped that this initiative can be an initial step towards wider integration of technology in the daily learning process, which in turn will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of education in schools.
