SLOW DOWN, PELVIC – IAIN Tulungagung KKN students held activities to help the Ngrencak Village community about the hepatitis A virus, Saturday, 03 August 2019. The goal, to get information regarding the Hepatitis A virus which is currently on the rise in several sub-districts.

Especially, Panggul District is a direct border with Pacitan, which is reportedly the district with the most hepatitis A sufferers. Hepatitis A outreach and training is in collaboration with the village and Ponkesdes Ngrencak, by bringing in one of the nurses, namely Solikan.

Solikan conveyed the importance of a clean lifestyle. Maintaining cleanliness is the responsibility of each individual. Starting from small things like, wash hands before eating, throw rubbish in place, and don't throw away your wishes indiscriminately.

The main target of this activity is the residents of Wonogondo Hamlet, Ngrencak Village. The invitees seemed enthusiastic to hear the speaker's speech, so many questions arose from him.

Strong, one of the participants asked a question regarding sufferers who had recovered from Hepatitis A, whether the virus dies or one day it can come back to life. Hepatitis A is a disease that can still be cured. (*)
