PELVIC – Syawalan for the people of Ngrencak Village has ended. It's time for the village community to start celebrating Longkangan. This drain is believed by the community to be their special tradition that needs to be celebrated by making tumpeng and giving food before the tayuban event begins.
Previously, the community works together to rewang make food served to the public. So, on Tuesday 30 July 2019 morning, held village clean. After that, at o'clock 09.00 WIB held a special event for men, which is called genduren.
Genduren is also celebrated by giving generous financial assistance which is usually called becekan. Usually each house gives approximately Rp 20.000. Then for the women, they provide assistance in the form of goods such as basic necessities.
In the evening, o'clock 20.00 WIB, the celebration of Javanese art, namely tayubban, was held at the Krajan Hamlet Hall.
We have to travel on foot to witness tayubban. Starting from the Ngrencak Village Hall route, we (post 1 And 2 the village is busy) We had to pass through the alleys of neighboring houses, our journey lasted more or less as long 5 minutes by foot to the Dusun Krajan Pendopo.
Every trip, we always meet the neighbors in front of their house. We greeted and shook hands with them with a smile. We also received a good response in the form of friendliness from the neighbors we met on our trip.
Arriving at the celebration venue in the Krajan Hamlet Hall, We were welcomed by the receptionists including the village head, Agung Susilo and the elders of Ngrencak Village.
Then we shook hands with them. In the pavilion, we were welcomed with delicious dishes starting from cassava chips, layer cake, and fried jadah and others as well as delicious beef soto. After that, chat with the elders there. The tayubban event begins with the sound of gamelan played by male elders, 1 tayuban singer and 2 graceful and beautiful bun dancer.
The gamelan music and the gentle dance of the sinden were like hypnosis for us. So stunned for us to see it closer. Don't forget, We also make memories by taking photos and videos as documentation in Ngrencak Village.
At the end of the event at exactly one o'clock 21.20 WIB, The main event began with remarks by the Village Head, Agung Susilo. He conveyed in gentle words part of his aim in the context of tayuban to clean up the village and at the same time told the profile of Ngrencak Village.
When the event started, the sinden who wore buns with beautiful faces invited the gentlemen to dance together at the front with shawls wrapped in orange.. Then they were led to dance in front of the guests who came with a graceful dance style like deadly hypnosis to dance with the sinden.
In the middle of the event, Suddenly we were so shocked by the unexpected, we were surprised when the fathers sat in a circle and in the middle of the circle they drank and smoked together while sitting in a circle until the boys from our command post looked after the girls in the middle to avoid unwanted incidents.
It's in my heart, why is it that every tanyuban has a green drink box? But that is the tradition in their village all this time. (*)
