Pungkalan, Wonotirto— On Wednesday, date 15 January 2020, the health and environment division carries out one of its work programs, namely posyandu activities. This event was held at Mr. Imam's house as the head of Wonotirto Village which also happens to be the location for the Wonotirto KKN post. 1. This posyandu activity was attended by mothers and children and toddlers in the Pungkalan Hamlet area, Wonotirto Village. Please note that the health and environment division consists of Rika, Bahrul, from Me.
However, they are not alone, but also collaborating with the health and environmental division of the Wonotirto command post 2. Command Post 2 consisting of Ma’ul, Ilma and Zulfa.
However, even though it already consists of many members who are involved in posyandu activities, The role of midwives and PKK mothers is also very important in the ongoing process of this activity. Here the health and environment division plays a role in assisting posyandu activities such as recording the weight of toddlers, weigh the body, give medicine to sick children, inject, and much more.
There are many kinds of expressions made by children and toddlers. There are those who are happy to be weighed, some cried because they were being injected, some laughed because they were given snacks and so on. Even though, Children must still receive posyandu services for their long-term health. This posyandu activity is held once a month in Pungkalan Hamlet. The place where this activity takes place is still the house of the Wonotirto Village Head, namely Mr. Imam.
In addition to carrying out work programs, Real Work Study students (KKN) Wonotorto post 1 especially the education and technology division carries out activities by providing study guidance to children around Pungkalan Hamlet. Besides that, The Education and Technology division also visited several schools, including state elementary schools 1 Wonotirto, State Elementary School 3 Wonotirto and State Elementary School 5 Wonotirto, in order to convey the intention of wanting to make it a teaching place during KKN.
One of the aims of this activity is to socialize and introduce that IAIN Tulungagung students are carrying out KKN and also to strengthen ties with the residents of Wonotirto village. 1. As for teaching activities at the Wonotirto post school 1 starting on Monday, date 20 January 2020. Reason, In this first week, Wonotirto KKN students 1 busy with sowan activities or introductions to the local community.
Besides that, The education and technology division also holds tutoring activities at the Wonotirto post 1 which is done every day at the hour 18:30 until 19.30. However, the education division does not do it alone, but also helped by all friends from the Wonotirto post 1. This activity was attended by children in the local environment. The class range of these children is between Kindergarten to Middle School 1 SMP. All the children who took part in this activity were very enthusiastic about learning with KKN students because it was a breath of fresh air for them in carrying out teaching and learning activities.
