SEMEN, BLITAR – IAIN Tulungagung KKN activities in Semen Village have taken place. In this village there is 2 post, namely the Cement post 1 and Cement post 2. Each post is divided into several divisions. Like at the Cement post 2 This is divided into 5 division, namely the Health division & Environment, Education division & Technology, Economics Division, Sociocultural division & Religion and Communications Division & Publication.
Perdevisi also has various work projects that have been carefully prepared for future implementation. Like the Health sector & Environment. On 20 January 2020, member of the health post division 2 take part in the "Posyandu for the Elderly" activities held in Semen hamlet. This activity was attended by various elderly people, Madam Head of Polindes, several Polindes members and also several KKN students from UNU Blitar.
This activity was also attended by external speakers who work as nurses. This elderly posyandu activity was very busy attended by elderly people of all ages 60 an up to age 100 an. The spirit of enthusiasm for the elderly is still growing within him, so he is very active in participating in the activities of the elderly posyandu.
The activities began with elderly exercise, This exercise is done with relaxed movements so that it can be followed easily by the elderly. Then the activity continued with remarks and evaluation from the chairman of the Polindes, followed by remarks from external speakers. Then the activity continued with checking the health of the elderly, starting with weighing them, check blood pressure and check cholesterol.
When the check takes place, The elderly were also given instructions on the importance of maintaining a regulated diet, maintain what foods are good for health and which are not good for the health of the elderly. (See,Things – Command Post 2)
