SRABAH, DAM – Thursday, 28 July 2022 KKN participants from the group 2 Srabah village conducted a survey at SDN 1 SRABAH and SDN 2 SRABAH. This activity is one of the group's work programs 2 Srabah village. In this activity the students visited elementary schools in the village to help with teaching and learning activities.
On our first visit, we talked with parents and teachers. The teachers explained to us the condition of the school environment and the character of the students. The teachers welcomed us with great friendliness, then they invited us to go around to see the situation and condition of the elementary school. In our opinion, the school environment is clean and neatly arranged. Lots of green plants around the elementary school make the atmosphere cool and provide comfort during teaching and learning activities.
Based on our survey results, the number of students from SDN 1 SRABAH is there 68 student, and SDN 2 SRABAH is there 99 student. Even though the number of students is relatively small, the students have a high enthusiasm for learning. The students enthusiastically welcomed the arrival of us students. They kindly invited us to get to know each other and even asked for our cellphone numbers and signatures. The friendly attitude of the children made us feel happy and enthusiastic about learning together in the future.
Apart from getting to know each other, we also play and learn together with the existing students. We do this as a first step in our introduction to the students, so that in the future they can be more open and feel comfortable with our presence. It is hoped that our presence can help teachers in their teaching and learning activities. We also hope that children can absorb a lot of knowledge and gain a lot of experience from us.
Apart from bringing benefits to the students, this activity also brings many benefits to us as KKN participants. We can add experience in the field of education. This activity also helps us to mingle better with people from various age groups. Hopefully in the future when we finish this KKN activity, The students and also the teachers felt proud and impressed by our presence in the school environment. And hopefully in the future we can always be individuals who are beneficial to society wherever we are.
